Another busy week draws to a close. Here's what's been happening in Vaudreuil-Soulanges over the past few days.

Acquisition of Sandy Beach: Social acceptability will be crucial

The Town of Hudson is evaluating the possibility of acquiring the entire Sandy Beach site. At least, that's what was discussed at a special meeting of the town council held on Monday, July 15, during which two firms were commissioned to study the issue.

Investments in Soulanges: over $230,000 to support the Ville de Rigaud

To give Quebecers access to quality infrastructure for sports, leisure and outdoor activities, Suzanne Roy, Minister for Families and Minister responsible for the Montérégie region, has announced investments of nearly $37.8 million for 34 projects in the Montérégie region. In the riding of Soulanges, financial support of $237,132 has been granted to the town of Rigaud to convert its sports field lighting to LED.

CDC launches “ Tremplin vers le communautaire ” program

The Corporation de développement communautaire Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CDC-VS) and its partners are actively seeking people from immigrant communities who would like to contribute to the community sector by finding long-term employment.
