Earlier this week, the Municipality of Terrasse-Vaudreuil announced the retirement of Terrasse-Vaudreuil Fire Chief Stéphane Rozon. Rozon served for 35 years, including 28 and a half as director.

According to his colleagues, he has been a mentor and an example of outstanding leadership, both in the fire station with his firefighters and officers, and outside the fire station in exchanges with citizens and members of the town.

"He can leave his position with a great sense of accomplishment, having overseen several projects and brought the Terrasse-Vaudreuil fire department to where it is today, by adding, among other things, a fire station that meets standards and is adapted to the world of firefighting, as well as a pumper that can cope with the new realities of firefighting, and thus be able to offer unparalleled service to the citizens of Terrasse-Vaudreuil, as well as greater efficiency in responding to mutual aid requests", we emphasize in a publication on social networks.
