The official launch of the Coop d'initiation à l'entrepreneuriat collectif jeunes entrepreneurs de l'île (CIEC) will take place at 6 p.m. on July 11, 2024, at Shamrock Park in Pincourt. The young entrepreneurs invite the entire population of Île Perrot to come and meet them.

The aim of the opening evening is to publicize the services they can offer the community of Pincourt, Terrasse-Vaudreuil, Ville de L'Île-Perrot and Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot.

This project, supported by Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi Vaudreuil-Soulanges, aims to introduce 10 to 15 high-school-aged young people to cooperative entrepreneurship, by creating their own jobs through a collective entrepreneurship initiation cooperative during the summer.

Accompanied by two dynamic coordinators, Alexia Guay and Florence Malençon, the young people will offer the following services: lawn mowing, gardening, car washing, interior cleaning and more. They are also open to discussing other types of service as required.

Evening program:

- Presentation of the cooperants and the services to be offered

- Some paid activities will be offered

- Light refreshments will be served.
