The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable wishes to inform road users that an all-way stop will soon be mandatory at the intersection of route 340 (boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes) and chemin Saint-Dominique, in Les Cèdres. Work will be required to make modifications to this intersection, resulting in minor inconveniences over the coming weeks.

Traffic management at the intersection of route 340 and chemin Saint-Dominique:

During construction (weeks of July 8 and 15):

During the day, when there is no work in progress: there will be a mandatory stop sign only on chemin Saint-Dominique, and a flashing light reminding users of route 340 to be vigilant as they approach.

At night, when there is work in progress: there will be normal traffic flow on route 340 and a complete closure of chemin Saint-Dominique, on one approach at a time (detour route on the nearby local network).

At all times following work (date to be determined):

- Obligation for road users in all directions to stop at the intersection;

- Use of a turning bay to turn right on either road.

Work may be postponed or extended due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. So, before you hit the road, we recommend you consult Québec 511, a practical tool for planning your roadwork.

If you have any questions or comments, you can contact the Ministère by dialing 511, or by visiting transports.gouv.qc.ca/contact-us.
