During graduation ceremonies at each of the region's schools, the Fondation du Cégep de Valleyfield awarded three $500 scholarships to students who met the selection criteria established by their teachers.

This Foundation initiative is designed to encourage high school graduates to enroll in a program available at Cégep de Valleyfield. A total of $9,000 was awarded to 18 graduating students from the five high schools affiliated with the Centre de services scolaires des Trois-Lacs, as well as Collège Bourget in Rigaud.

These bursaries are part of the Foundation's strategy to create a first link with the student population. Mon Cégep bursaries are also a lever to facilitate the transition of high school graduates to higher education.

During the 2023-2024 school year, the Foundation distributed the equivalent of $175,000 in bursaries to the Cégep de Valleyfield student population. The main objective of the organization is to support students in the success of their educational projects, as well as :

- To work towards the development of the Cégep according to students' aspirations;

- Contribute to the Cégep's local, regional, national and international reputation;

- To contribute to the improvement of facilities for the college community.
