Summer has begun at the Maison Félix-Leclerc, so join for a picnic on Saturday lunches in July, and let yourself be carried away by a variety of musical universes. Singer-songwriter Lyne Cadieux presents C'est dans vos yeux on July 6 at 12:30 pm.

Ms. Cadieux's show is driven by strong, inspired lyrics evoking love, freedom, hope, solidarity and peace. She loves words, poetry and the language of Molière. For her new songs, she has surrounded herself with local greats such as Vigneault, Tabra, Lavoie, Bigras, Landriault and Noireaut. She also includes some of her own lyrics.

The music will be varied, ranging from jazz to French and world music, with a few favourites thrown in: Legrand, Aznavour, Danielle Messia, Felix, Fugain and more.

Lyne Cadieux will be accompanied by Claude Taillefer on piano.

Films with La boîte lumineuse in August

In collaboration with Ciné-club La boîte lumineuse, international films will be shown on Mondays in August, at sunset, around 8:45 pm. The site opens 30 minutes before the show. The first film will be shown on August 12.
