On Tuesday, June 18, the developer of the Ottera real estate project on 20th Street in Saint-Zotique invited the media to the ground-breaking ceremony for this real estate development, which will be built right next to the new Navigateurs high school. Once completed, the project will offer 280 condos for sale or rent.

Phase 1 of the project will include 70 rental units and will be delivered, according to the current schedule, in the summer of 2025. " A total of 140 units will be for rent, while the same number will be for sale. The project is well located, close to all services and Highway 20, and we know the area well, as we have another real estate project not far from here," explains Marc Lefort, the partner responsible for marketing the project.

The Otterra project will feature studio, 3?, 4? and 5? apartments. Phase 2 of the project, which will also include 70 doors, is scheduled for completion by spring 2026. " We have a good list of people interested in Phase 1. A special event will be held for them in July. It's best to sign up via the project's website so you don't miss out on any project-related news," he added.

The project will also include common spaces such as a gym & wellness studio, outdoor terraces, a car wash station, a coworking space, an outdoor pool, a community garden and underground parking.

To mark the start of construction of this real estate development at 1000 20th Street, a number of project partners were in attendance. Among the dignitaries in attendance were city councillors Eric Lachance and Paul Forget.

Getting involved in the community

Ottera took advantage of the official ground-breaking ceremony to make financial contributions totalling $10,000 to two local causes in connection with the project's arrival in Saint-Zotique.

The first is the Riveraine elementary school, located not far from the real estate project, which received $5,000. The money will be used to build a synthetic soccer field in the school's backyard.

The other $5,000 was donated to Centraide Sud-Ouest, an organization with four areas of action: Supporting young people's success, Ensuring the essentials, Breaking social isolation and Building cohesive living environments.

More information on the real estate project is available at https://ottera.ca/.
