The Festival de musique émergente, Artefact has unveiled its program for its 2024 edition. The event will take place on July 26 and 27 at Vaudreuil-Dorion's Parc Le 405.

Known for showcasing emerging artists, this year's Festival will be no exception, despite its popular format. 

Francouvertes finalist Karolan Boily will open the festivities on July 26 at 7pm.  Miro will follow at 7:45pm. To round off the first evening of the Festival, seasoned multi-instrumentalist and tireless creator and singer-songwriter Claude Bégin will present his first solo project, Les Magiciens. 

On July 27, audiences can discover Julyan, Easy Tiger and Prix Félix-Leclerc finalist Marco Ema. 

Mondial de Washers

What would the Festival Artefact be without its annual Mondial de Washers competition. For the 10th edition, competition organizers are offering $1,000 in scholarships for champions and finalists, plus $1,100 in prizes for first-time participants.

Year after year, the Festival Artefact Mondial de Washers attracts over a hundred players in more than 60 teams. 

The Mondial is a festive event for all, and disguises are welcome.

Exhibitors' Alley

Finally, in addition to the various concerts, festival-goers will be able to discover various local and regional artisans in the exhibitors' alley.
