After 42 days of overtaking in the jungle
Vaudreuil-Dorionnais Ghislain Octeau-Piché wins 2nd season of SURVIVOR QUÉBEC
The verdict finally came down on Sunday evening, June 16. Following an emotional final, Vaudreuil-Dorion resident Ghyslain Octeau-Piché was unanimously voted the Last Survivor of SURVIVOR QUÉBEC's second season.
After winning the final immunity challenge earlier this week, Ghyslain had the tough task of selecting the person who would accompany him to the grand finale. His choice fell on Kassandre, his great ally since the beginning of the adventure. André and Nabil had to face off in the mythical test of fire to determine who would win the last available place in the final. In less than five minutes, the self-proclaimed king of fire ignited his rope, giving him access to the top 3 and making Nabil the 17th player to be eliminated.
Finalists André, Ghyslain and Kassandre, after 42 days of pushing themselves to the limit, lacking both food and sleep, tried to convince the eight-member jury at the very last Tribal Council that they deserved to take top honors. After making a heartfelt plea to their former allies and answering their many questions, it was the jury's turn to decide.
In the end, it was Ghyslain who convinced them that he had played the best game physically, socially and strategically, and was unanimously crowned the last survivor of the second season of SURVIVOR QUÉBEC.
On a day-to-day basis, the 29-year-old is a father of three, co-founder of the Sierra Group and host of the Solemn podcast.
