The MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is proud to unveil the projects selected following the call for projects launched last March as part of the Community Development Fund.

Comité logement Valleyfield For the development and consolidation of Mon logement, Mes droits, aimed at offering services to defend the rights of tenants in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and promote social housing in the area;

Ville de Saint-Lazare for the À la découverte des racines du monde project, which promotes the richness of the cultures present on the town's territory by organizing various events aimed at bringing people together and sharing;

Fondation Cité-des-Jeunes for the J'embarque sur l'eau en Rabaska project, which aims to set up sports facilities that will enable special needs students to safely enjoy the region's waterways;

Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges for L'art au cœur de mon été, enabling several hundred targeted children to take advantage of artistic workshops focusing on educational and social success as part of their summer camp.

The projects submitted by municipalities and organizations were selected in accordance with the Politique de développement social durable (PDSD) de la MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, and based on priority needs identified in the region to improve community well-being.

The selected promoters will benefit from personalized support to stimulate their thinking and propose structuring initiatives that meet the needs of Vaudreuil-Soulanges communities.

A total of $100,000 will be made available to regional organizations and municipalities. This support measure is made possible by the Fonds régions et ruralité (FRR) - volet 2, from the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation.
