Les Cèdres: the "Mettre les mains à la pâte" exhibition travels
The Mettre les mains à la pâte exhibition is travelling. It closes on May 15 at the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and opens on May 18 at the Bibliothèque Gaby-Farmer-Denis in Les Cèdres. "It will be the same works and the same artists, with a new layout inspired by spring markets," says multidisciplinary artist Annick Gauvreau. The exhibition will run in the multi-purpose hall until June 14.
The exhibition features a series of works by students in the Cité-des-Jeunes art-study program. Annick Gauvreau, a multidisciplinary artist from Coteau-du-Lac, and art teacher Nancy Lépine, supervised the artists' work.
You can meet artist Annick Gauvreau on May 25, from 2 to 4 pm. She will welcome, among others, the young artists who created the works to explain the new installation environment at the Gaby-Farmer-Denis library.
The public is invited to attend. The address is 141, rue Valade in Les Cèdres, and information can be obtained by calling 450-452-4250. Library opening hours are as follows:
- Monday: 10am-4pm
- Tuesday: 10am-8pm
- Wednesday: 3pm-8pm
- Thursday: 10am-8pm
- Friday: 10am-4pm
