A major fire broke out around 6 a.m. this morning in the premises of a Rigaud business located on Chemin des Érables, near the cemetery. At the time of writing, very few details are available.
According to initial reports, the blaze involved the family business Ventil Air Vallée & Fils, located at 141 chemin des Érables.
On its Facebook page, the company states that it offers professional heating, ventilation and air-conditioning products and services in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges, West Island and surrounding areas.
Witnesses report that the flames were quickly brought under control by firefighters. Other Vaudreuil-Soulanges firefighters were on hand to assist their colleagues.
