Winter 2023-2024 has not said its last word. In the last few hours, Environment Canada has issued a weather warning for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.

According to the weather forecasting agency, a low-pressure system forming over Colorado will intensify over the next few days, affecting Quebec from Wednesday afternoon. Precipitation will be in the form of snow, but the snow will be melting or mixed with rain at the start of the event.

Total snowfall amounts will depend on the evolution of the system and the type of precipitation, but could be in the order of 10 to 20 centimeters.

Consider delaying non-essential travel.
