On March 9, Coralie Demers of Notre-Dame-de-L'Île-Perrot, the gymnast selected by Gymnastics Canada, took part in the International Junior Cup at L'International Gymnix in Montreal.

This was her second international assignment, officially representing Canada in the Junior High Performance category, both individually and as part of a team.

Coralie performed very well in front of the public, as did her Canada team.

Her individual results are as follows:

- 8th place on uneven bars,

- 6th place on beam, and

- 9th overall on all apparatus.

The icing on the cake was a 2nd-place silver medal for the team, behind the USA and ahead of Japan.
