Camping Koa and terrain Juteau
New real estate projects coming to Coteau-du-Lac?
The City of Coteau-du-Lac could very soon be welcoming new residential projects, if we are to believe the comments made by Mayor Andrée Brosseau at the recent municipal council meeting held this Tuesday, February 13.
Questioned by a citizen about the future of Camping Koa, accessible via Route 338, the mayor revealed a few details on the subject. "A real estate project has been submitted to us by a developer. It is currently being studied by our urban planning department. I can't tell you more at the moment. The land is private, so the city doesn't really have a say in the future development of the site. On the other hand, the developer will have to comply with all our urban planning regulations to see his project come to fruition."
On another note, the mayor also gave an update on the terrain Juteau, located behind the Caisse Desjardins."Previously, the land was a scrap yard.We acquired it to decontaminate it and it's now ready for a project. An announcement to that effect will be made public soon."
