Several people have been seriously injured in an attack on an apartment building on rue Émile-Bouchard in Vaudreuil-Dorion. 

According to initial reports, police from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC were called to the scene shortly before noon. 

"At this time, the intervention is still underway and a suspect has been arrested by police. More details will follow on the condition and number of victims. No further details will be released at this time," said the Sûreté du Québec.
