The Town of Vaudreuil-Dorion invites the public to attend the Feux et flocons event on Saturday, February 24, starting at 7 p.m. at Parc de la Maison-Valois, when DJs Adrien Tosti and Tizi will perform on the roof of the MIXBUS Studio, a school bus converted into a stage.

The much-anticipated fireworks display will light up the sky over Vaudreuil Bay at around 9 p.m.

"Since its creation, Feux et flocons has been a hit with the public, who are always loyal to the event. This year, we're delighted to add a youth component to our program, with the Le Loop igloo and its DJing initiation workshop. Residents will also be able to take advantage of the park's winter slide, which will be animated for the occasion," enthuses Vincent Bastien, Director of the Service des loisirs et de la culture.

The headlining act will be Montrealer Tizi, whose groovy, funky electronic arrangements with hip-hop, disco, rock and pop influences will set the stage alight at Parc de la Maison-Valois.

Renowned for her ability to adapt to any audience, the 12-year veteran has performed at some of Quebec's most iconic venues and festivals, including the Bell Centre, ÎleSoniq, Igloofest, Piknic Électronik, Beachclub and New City Gas.

DJ Adrien Tosti will open the evening from 7 to 8:15 pm. Other on-site activities include a graffiti workshop with Comité Jeunesse La Presqu'île, an introduction to DJing with DJ Kleancut, the Caravane Mozaïk in techno mode, a slide, strolling entertainment, not forgetting the fireworks display around 9 p.m.

Those interested will be able to buy a bite to eat at the Frit & Gof food truck and alcoholic beverages at the bars. Please note that outside alcohol is not permitted on site. In addition, a street truck will be serving free coffee and hot chocolate to warm frozen hands. Please note that the ice ring in Parc de la Maison-Valois will be closed from February 22 until the end of the event.

In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, Feux et flocons may be cancelled.Residents are invited to monitor the Town's Facebook page or call the Info-Annulation line at 450 424-8502 to make sure the event is still on.
