On Tuesday, January 23, Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of the Economy, Innovation and Energy, was in Vaudreuil-Dorion to discuss the economy as part of the first edition of the Horizons Économiques conferences organized by the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIVS).

Nearly 120 people, mainly from the business and institutional spheres, were present to attend this conference, which opened the economic event. Mr. Fitzgibbon said he was very pleased to be able to talk with the entrepreneurs present.

For more than twenty minutes, the Minister spoke about the various initiatives Quebec has put in place to support entrepreneurs and businesses.

During the question period, a few people in the room questioned the Minister, notably on digital innovation, the Privacy Act, carbon neutrality in transport and business.

Overall, Mr. Fitzgibbon's presence at the economic meeting organized by the CCIVS was greatly appreciated by the guests.
