Maxime Deschamps and his partner star at ISU Four Continents Championships
Canada will be represented by 18 talented skaters at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2024, to be held in Shanghai, China, from February 1-4, 2024. Among them will be Vaudreuil-Dorion's Maxime Deschamps and his partner Deanna Stellato-Dudek.

The pair will be looking to add to their growing collection of medals. The duo recently won their second national title and the bronze medal at the ISU Grand Prix Final.
This sporting event, one of the most important of the International Skating Union (ISU), will feature athletes from the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania, competing in men's and ladies singles, pairs and ice dance.
On the women's side, the Canadian team will be led by Madeline Schizas, two-time national champion and Nepela Memorial 2023 bronze medallist. She will be joined by Sara-Maude Dupuis, who placed in the top ten at the 2023 ISU Four Continents Championships, and Justine Miclette, who won a bronze medal at the 2023 Fall Classic Internationals in Montreal.
As always, Canada will be well represented in ice dance, with three-time Canadian champions and 2023 World bronze medallists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier leading the charge.
Competition kicks off on Thursday, February 1 with the women's, men's and pair short programs. On Friday, February 2, the rhythmic dance and women's free program will take place, while on Saturday, the men's and pair free programs will be performed.The competition concludes on Sunday, February 4 with the free dance.
