Sainte-Marthe: young man to be charged with impaired driving
A 20-year-old man driving on Sainte-Marthe territory this Wednesday evening, January 17, will face a charge of impaired driving following a road accident.

The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. as the driver was driving on Bertrand Street, near 758 Montée Lefebvre.
"The motorist refused to submit to the approved detection device following the loss of control of his vehicle. As a result, he will be charged with impaired driving. He was transported to hospital following the accident for treatment of minor injuries that in no way threatened his life," said Valérie Beauchamp, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec in the aftermath of the event.
