A little over two weeks after helping his team, the Montreal Alouettes, win the 8th Grey Cup in their history, Neomedia spoke with defensive back Tysen-Otis Copeland. The 26-year-old number 32 has strong roots in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

The young man, who is still studying, was the Alouettes' 4th-round pick in the 2022 draft, 33rd overall. At the time, he was wearing the colors of the Université de Montréal Carabins.

The six-foot-one, 203-lb. athlete donned his first uniform at Chêne-Bleu high school in Pincourt, where he represented the Intrépides.

In a video interview, Tysen-Otis Copeland shares his state of mind two weeks after winning the Grey Cup, looks back on his time at Pincourt, his roots with the region, his path to the Alouettes, as well as sharing a few tips with Neomedia readers and his analysis of what led the team to victory, despite its overlooked status. The athlete also indicates what will occupy his calendar in the coming months.

Enjoy the interview in French!
