CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest appoints a new president and deputy CEO

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de la Montérégie-Ouest will have a new Assistant President and CEO (PDGA) as of Monday, November 27. The appointment was ratified by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, November 22. 

Considering that Mr. Pilon currently holds the position of Deputy Director General of Social, Rehabilitation and Autonomy Support Programs for Seniors (DGAPSR), he will combine these two positions until the DGAPSR position is filled.  

He holds a master's degree in public administration from ENAP and a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Université de Montréal. He has over 20 years' experience in the health and social services network, and more than 15 years in senior management positions. Within the organization, he has held the positions of Director of Youth Programs and Public Health Activities, Director of Vaccination, and Director of Hospital Activities at Hôpital du Suroît and Barrie Memorial Hospital. 

 "Mr. Pilon is the perfect person to fill this role.  Over the past few years, he has distinguished himself through numerous cross-functional projects and has been able to mobilize his teams in a context of major transformation. He leads the organization to surpass itself, notably through the coordination of steering rooms, the organizational fluidity management room and his performance-driven vision.We would like to congratulate Mr. Pilon on this appointment and wish him every success in his new responsibilities. His professionalism, commitment and solid experience will be an important asset in the pursuit of CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest's mission," says Philippe Gribeauval, President and CEO of CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest.
