At Cafexo throughout November
Pierre Saint-Onge exhibits his photographs in Vaudreuil-Dorion
Vaudreuil-Dorion resident Pierre Saint-Onge, a self-described photo enthusiast for 50 years, is currently exhibiting his photographs at Cafexo café-boutique throughout November. A vernissage for his Méli-Mélo exhibition will be held on November 5 at 2 p.m.
"It was the first thing I bought for myself when I started working. At first, like all photographers, I took pictures of ducks," he admits with a smile.
His current exhibition focuses on outdoor, everyday street activities, accounting for half of the 18 visual artworks installed on Cafexo's walls.
"I'm very drawn to the urban world, he says, and I mainly do black-and-white shots."
Pierre Saint-Onge was one of the first members of the Club photo Vaudreuil-Dorion, founded a dozen years ago. He has sat on its boards of directors on numerous occasions.
"Currently, there are four women on the Photo Club's board of directors, which brings a fresh perspective," he says.
For a good cup of coffee and a visit to Méli-Mélo, head to Cafexo, 358 avenue Saint-Charles, Vaudreuil-Dorion.
