Héma-Québec will be holding blood clinics in the region over the coming weeks.

Here are the dates and locations of scheduled clinics:

Monday, October 16

Location: Carrefour Notre-Dame, 1300 boulevard Don-Quichotte, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Target: 60 donors.

Wednesday, October 18

Location: Centre communautaire, 4 rue du Moulin, Saint-Clet, from 1pm to 8pm. Target: 70 donors. 

Monday, October 23rd

Location: Édifice Paul-Brasseur, 10 rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste Est, Rigaud, from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. Target 75 donors. 

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you are passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
