Since noon, job seekers from Vaudreuil-Dorion and the surrounding area can come to the Centre Multisports André-Chagnon to take part in the 3rd Salon de l'emploi organized in the region in 2023. The event is organized by the Table de concertation pour l'emploi de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. 

The event ends at 7 p.m.  "We're bringing together 45 employers under one roof, making this the biggest job fair to be held in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. There are employers here that we don't usually see, and that's what makes it so interesting. There's a wide variety of jobs on offer, from law and insurance to senior management and manufacturing. There's something for everyone", says Philippe Roy of the Table de concertation pour l'emploi de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. 

At the opening of the Salon de l'emploi, over 250 job titles were up for grabs by the employers present. "They were aimed at people with a master's or bachelor's degree, as well as workers with their first professional experience. People who are curious to see what the region can offer them professionally are also welcome", he adds. 

Mr. Roy is categorical: you can make a career in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. "The region has a great economic fabric thanks to its strategic positioning. Workers tired of dealing with daily traffic can come and see for themselves that they won't lose out if they change jobs to be closer to home.It's definitely an option to consider", he concludes. 

As for employers, there are representatives of regional communities such as L'Île-Perrot, Pincourt and Vaudreuil-Dorion, as well as private companies such as Aerzen Canada inc, Aqua Data inc, Amazon, Archambault & Morton Orthodontistes, Asmodee Canada inc, Bourassa Boyer inc, Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Co-operators, Sanivac and many others. 

Numerous organizations also recruit labor here: Center de services scolaires des Trois-Lacs, Centre d'action bénévole l'Actuel, CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest, COMQUAT, Maison de la famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges and Maison des soins palliatifs de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
