The Coop d'économie participative CSUR will have a new face at its head office within a year. In an e-mail sent to the organization's members, Vice-Chairman Réjean Sauvé confirmed the departure of Bianka Dupaul.

It was Ms. Dupaul who recently submitted her resignation to the organization's Board of Directors, where she has worked professionally for over a decade.

"The decision was very difficult because I love the Coop and its mission. It was heartbreaking, but I feel I've come full circle as to why I started working for the Coop. I believe that making way for a new person who will bring new ideas will benefit the organization" she says on the other end of the phone.

However, she wants to reassure the members of the Coop d'économie participative. "I'll be staying on for another six months to a year. I want to ease the transition with the person who will replace me. I'm not going to rush my departure. I have nothing else to do at the moment. I want to leave with peace of mind, knowing that the organization is in good hands" she adds, adding that she will consider other professional opportunities in due course.

What message would she like to send to future candidates? "This really is a great company. The team is ultra autonomous and has great aims for the community. It's a rewarding mandate" she concludes.

Here is the full message sent to members by Mr. Réjean Sauvé:

It is with great emotion that we announce that the CSUR Board of Directors has received the resignation of our General Manager, Bianka Dupaul.

Bianka has informed us that, after more than a decade of rewarding  enriching experiences with CSUR, she wished to move  she wished to move on to other challenging management experiences  in another organization.

Indeed, CSUR is doing well! The company is very well managed and the team is autonomous in its functions. We can be very proud of all that has been achieved over the last few years. We're now in a good position to recruit the next generation to take our cooperative even further!

With all her consistency and sense of responsibility, Bianka will accompany the Board in the staffing process and the integration of our future general management. She will officially step down next summer.

We would like to thank her most sincerely for the giant leaps she has enabled the Coop to make during the many fine years she has devoted to the cooperative and our community. She knew how to bring out the best in each and every one of us!

We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to count on her
her professionalism and sense of cooperation. She has
She has been able to assemble and mobilize a highly competent team to support us and hold down the fort, while we make sure to recruit a leader who will guide them even further!

Over the next few weeks, you'll be seeing a job posting. We encourage you to pass it on to your friends and family, so that we can get the best applications!
