Home Hardware recognized its Rigaud branch as the best Home Hardware store in Quebec at its Homecoming event on September 13.

"We are honoured to be recognized with the 'Merchant par excellence' award for the best Home Hardware store in Quebec," said Benoit Ducharme, merchant-owner, Quincaillerie Home Hardware - Rigaud. "Every day, it's a pleasure to work with our team, who are part of a dynamic and welcoming community. We always strive to be the best example of the Rigaud spirit." 

Winners must demonstrate excellence in staff performance and customer service, interior presentation including clear signage, cleanliness, merchandise presentation, exterior presentation including cleanliness and attractive window displays, employee training, and participation in merchant network initiatives. 

For Mr. Ducharme and co-merchant-owner Carole St-Amant, customer service is the priority for them and their staff. The town of Rigaud is home to a large community of loyal customers who are always greeted by the team with a warm smile. It's all part of the friendly, helpful environment that Mr. Ducharme and his staff have created since he bought the store in 2016.
