Figure skating: first place for Vaudreuil-Dorion duo

The Skate Sud-Ouest sports organization shares the results achieved by its regional skaters at the Quebec Summer Figure Skating Championships, held at the Pierrefonds Sportplexe from August 10 to 13.
Three Vaudreuil-Dorion athletes took part in the competition, and here are their rankings:
- Novice Ladies category: Ariane Gloutney of CPAR Vaudreuil, ranked 14th;
- Pré-Novice Dames category: Léana Allen of CP Hudson\Rigaud\Saint-Lazare: 16th place;
- Category Pre-Novice: Romy Bergevin of CPAR Vaudreuil: 12th place.
Vaudreuil's Deanna Stellato and Maxime Deschamps finished first after the short program in the Senior Couple category.
In Novice Dance, Amélia Dufour-Saysourinho and Anthony MacDonald of Valleyfield took silver!
"Congratulations to all our skaters for their performance at this competition," said Skate Sud-Ouest in a press release.
