For some, August means vacation, but for others, it means corn roast. That's what inspired our poll question of the week.

In the past, corn husking was a chore carried out in villages at the end of summer, to avoid wasting the harvest and prepare the corn that would be stored all year round. Today, corn husking is simply an excuse to get together with family and friends and celebrate.

Boiled in water, grilled on the BBQ, cooked in the microwave, with regular or flavored butter, with salt or other aromatics, in short, in Quebec, we love our corn.

For a few weeks now, many Internet users have been asking where to find the best corn in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, and that's what inspired this week's question.

Where's the best corn in the region? Here are the results of the vote:

- Ferme Anse au Sable - Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot: 4.1%;

- Ferme Quinn- Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot: 19.2%;

- Ferme Benoit Vernier - Saint-Zotique: 26%;

- La Belle de Coteau-du-Lac - Coteau-du-Lac: 31.5%;

- Fruits et Légumes Daoust - de Vaudreuil-Dorion: 19.2%.
