For approximately one month
Paving work begins on routes 201 and 340 in Saint-Clet
After years of waiting, Saint-Clet mayor Mylène Labre can finally say mission accomplished. On Tuesday, August 8, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable officially began the promised paving work at the intersection of routes 201 and 340.
According to a worker we met on site as soon as the work began, operations are expected to take a month. The work will involve alternating traffic, between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Flagmen and an escort vehicle will be on site at all times when the worksite is in operation, to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic.
This work will complete the paving work recently completed in this sector, which will improve the road surface of routes 201 and 340, located in the urban core of the municipality of Saint-Clet.
The Ministry would like to thank road users for their cooperation in carrying out this project. For the safety of road users and workers, it is essential to respect existing road signs.
Motorists are invited to consult Québec 511, a practical tool for planning their journeys, to find out about current and future roadblocks.
