Over 5,000 Hydro-Québec customers in the dark in Vaudreuil-Soulanges

The vagaries of the weather over the past few hours have caused major power outages in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. According to the Info-pannes tab on the Hydro-Québec website, there were 49 outages in the MRC territory. The incidents deprived more than 5,000 customers of electricity on Friday, July 14. 

According to the Info-Pannes tab on the Hydro-Québec website, a total of 5,134 of the 75,436 customers in Vaudreuil-Soulanges are currently in the dark. 

Several localities in the region are affected. Here is the latest toll: 

- Coteau-du-Lac: 18 customers;

- L'Île-Cadieux: 3 customers;

- Les Cèdres: 202 customers;

- L'Île-Perrot: 421 customers;

- Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot: 952 customers;

- Pincourt: 1,664 customers;

- Pointe-des-Cascades: 4; 

- Rivière-Beaudette: 64 customers;

- Saint-Clet: 1 customer;

- Saint-Lazare: 129 customers;

- Saint-Polycarpe: 1 customer;

- Saint-Télesphore: 1 customer;

- Sainte-MartheL 1 customer;

- Vaudreuil-Dorion: 673 customers.
