At the Grand Prix of Figure Skating
A Vaudreuil-Dorion native to represent Canada in figure skating this fall
Figure skater Maxime Deschamps, a native of Vaudreuil-Dorion, and his partner Deanna Stellato-Dudek will be among the 18 Canadian athletes representing the country at a major competition to be held in British Columbia from October 27 to 29.
The International Skating Union (ISU) has confirmed the pair's participation in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The national competition will be held at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia this fall.
Other participants in this prestigious competition will include ISU World Figure Skating 2023 bronze medallists and reigning ice dance champions Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier.
Canada's troop will be up against international competitors at the championships, including two-time ISU World Champion Kaori Sakamoto (Japan), ISU World 2023 silver medallist Junhwan Cha (Korea), ISU Four Continents 2023 Champion Kao Miura (Japan) and ISU European silver medallists Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson (Great Britain).

Tickets for individual events go on sale on July 27.
